Passion for good food and wine runs deep in the family of Simona Sarpa. Two years ago, she moved from Napoli, Italy to let Tampa Bay taste a little piece of Neapolitan tradition. In a kitchen inspired by her Grandparents’ restaurant/pizzeria Pizzicato at Piazza Municipio, she follows the tradition of the Neapolitan cuisine passed down through the generations.

The Viva Napoli kitchen relies mostly on imported products from Italy to meet the authenticity of the Neapolitan cuisine. The centerpiece of the kitchen, a large wood fired oven, was built in Napoli from the famous “biscotto di Sorrento” stone to perfectly cook the Neapolitan style pizza. Italian flour results in pizzas with soft crust and beautiful airy pockets that add a delightful crunch.

True Italian ingredients add their uncompromising flavors to each dish, from Italian cheeses and herbs to sausages imported from Napoli. Savor the hearty flavors that invoke the passion of Italy.

As always, best enjoyed with wine!
